I've been learning Logic Pro. It's fun, but I don't have a mac, so I can only work while in the lab. This is part of a sample from a remix of the Rob D piece from The Matrix (woman in the red dress scene). It's an 8 track piece, and the first thing I made with Logic. Most of the tracks are played in, except for the reverse-record sound.

follow through - the act of continuing a plan, project, scheme, or the like to its completion It seems like some people are guided, constantly. They have constant direction in their lives, a daily assurance of what to do next. I've always wondered what it would be like to be like this. To have an invisible string that always pulls me in, helping me make choices that don't necessarily have to be right, per se... decisions that aren't special because they have been made... but important because they have been completed. |

I had a crappy dream last night. But, what's even crappier, is that when I woke up, I realized half the stuff is actually kind of true. Somewhere along the way, I've lost touch with some things and some people who mean the world to me. I could say that it was because school, work, jealous boyfriends or needy girlfriends got in the way. I could. But, it's really my own fault. It's a bad feeling, knowing you can never get back to that place. I guess these are the kind of mistakes you don't make twice. Too bad they're such tough lessons to learn. |
